Your adventure will begin very early in the morning at 5 am. Our mountain guide will pick you up from your hotel and take you on a scenic 3-hour drive from the city of Cusco to Ocongate-Pacchanta. Here, our dedicated trekking team will meticulously handle all the logistical arrangements for your extraordinary hike, while you enjoy a nutritious breakfast.
From this point, our hike will begin, lasting approximately 4 to 5 hours at a moderate pace. During the trek, you will be able to observe unforgettable landscapes, as well as the local flora and fauna, until we reach the 7 lakes of Ausangate. After a rewarding exploration of the area, we will return to Pacchanta to enjoy a delicious dinner. We will conclude the day with a dip in the rejuvenating hot springs of Pacchanta and spend the night in the comfort of our tents.

Embark on a 2-hour ascent to Pukacocha Pass (4,870 m / 15,978 ft), where awe-inspiring panoramic views of Apu Ausangate Mountain and its encircling lakes will leave you breathless. Capture this unforgettable moment before descending to the lunch spot at Ananta (4,750 m / 15,584 ft), a leisurely 1.5-hour stroll through undulating terrain. Enjoy a satisfying lunch and rest, preparing for the gentle 2-hour ascent to Warmisaya Pass (4,985 m / 16,355 ft), your gateway to the awe-inspiring Rainbow Mountain and the sprawling red valley. Descend for one hour to SurineCocha Lagoon (4,800 m / 15,748 ft), where you’ll slumber under the watchful gaze of the rainbowmountain.
Begin the day with a hearty breakfast, preparing for the climax of your trek. Embark on a gentle 1-hour Peruvian flat walk to Rainbow Mountain, where you’ll be among the first to witness the splendor of this Andean gem as the sunrise bathes the mountains in golden hues. Proceed for 1.5 hours through the captivating Red Valley, where the surreal landscape will captivate your senses.
